The chapters address how both the demand and supply side of the marketplace can be harnessed to provide the proper incentives for good wildlife management. Because markets depend on property rights, the main focus is on ownership of wildlife and wildlife habitat.
Terry L. Anderson is the executive director of PERC and a professor of economics at Montana State University. Peter J. Hill is a PERC senior associate and a professor of economics at Wheaton College.
