We are recruiting undergraduate and graduate students for PERC’s summer colloquium. We ask for your help in identifying qualified students for this program.

The colloquium, “Enhancing Environmental Quality through Property Rights,” is co-sponsored with Liberty Fund, Inc., and will be held June 12-17 at the Homewood Suites in Bozeman, Montana.

The colloquium is designed to introduce students to a property rights and market approach to environmental issues. Students will participate in a combination of lectures and Socratic style discussions of assigned readings that address specific themes.

Successful applicants will receive a scholarship for tuition, meals, lodging, and a travel stipend of $500.

While it is helpful if the students are familiar with basic economic principles, we encourage non-economics majors to also apply. Students can apply online. The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, March 13, but we encourage students to apply as soon as possible.

If you have further questions about the program, please contact our Undergraduate Colloquium Director, Holly Fretwell, at holly@perc.org, or PERC’s Conference Coordinator, Colleen Lane, at clane@perc.org.
