Daniele Cesano

Cesano, a native of Italy, received his bachelor’s degree from Politecnico di Torino, Italy, and his master’s degree and Ph.D. in “Earth and Water Resources” from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. He is an environmental engineer with a focus on sustainable development. Cesano has been focusing on identifying market approaches to increase penetration of technologies and products that would help the shift toward more sustainable living. He works for ARUP, an international design engineering firm, in the New York office. Cesano is responsible for expanding the office skills in sustainability and sustainable design of large-scale infrastructures. He is also Adjunct Professor in Environmental Engineering at Columbia University, New York, and teaches “Sustainability” at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Cesano belongs to professional engineering associations and is a member of LEAD, a prominent international think-tank based in London.
