Patrick Malone

Patrick L. Malone, is employed by Boulder County, Colorado’s Parks and Open Space Department.  As a Natural Resource Planner, he develops land management plans and works with municipalities on conservation and recreation issues.  Prior to that, Patrick spent time in the nonprofit sector working on community-based land conservation projects for Colorado Open Lands, a statewide land trust.  Before moving to the West, Patrick was with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources where he worked in a variety of capacities for its Divisions of Water, Forestry, and Outdoor Recreation.  He has experience in natural resource management, conservation and recreation planning, grants and project management, and holds a B.S. in natural resources from Ball State University and an M.P.A. specializing in environmental policy from Indiana University.
