Anna Ebers

Since 2010, Anna Ebers has been a research assistant at the Department of Forest and Natural Resources Management at SUNY-ESF, in upstate New York, working on economics of conservation easements. Her primary research interest lies in renewable energy economics and investment. Current research includes biomass to energy policy analysis in the US, microfinance as a financing tool for solar installations in developing countries especially Mexico, and investors’ decision-making under uncertainty in renewable energy sector. Originally from Tallinn, Estonia, Anna witnessed the last years of the Soviet era in her country. She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Tartu, Estonia, and her master’s degree in international economics at the University of Konstanz, in Germany. Anna enjoys teaching and would like to disseminate the knowledge gained during her experience in the United States by teaching a course in Estonia. Anna is an accomplished musician and, during her free time, enjoys the outdoors.
