Josh Hottenstein

Josh Hottenstein serves the as the Rocky Mountain Region Partnering Chair & Arizona Director for the Cleantech Open. He is working to find, fund, and foster the nation’s most promising clean technology entrepreneurs. He leads state level operations and regional expansion activities for the Cleantech Open. Building networks of clean technology resources to accelerate the development of clean technology ventures and entrepreneurs.

Josh has spent the last 15 years working with corporate, non-profit, and government organizations. His work has focused on leading exploration, entrepreneurship, and innovation activities. Working with senior leaders to find evidence based and novel solutions to pressing strategic, economic, and environmental problems.

His work has been featured in publications such as the Economist, Discovery News, Greentech Media, Grist, and Planet-Profit Report. He has been a part of and advised companies in the clean technology, software, mining, energy, defense, and think tank industries. He holds both a BSBA and MS in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona.
