Peter Dykstra

Peter Dykstra is a lawyer with a practice focused on water rights, conservation real estate transactions, natural resources policy, and government relations at Plauche & Carr LLP. He serves public and private clients in these areas and is leading his firm’s efforts to expand its ecosystem services practice. Peter’s background in designing and closing over $120 million in conservation transactions and innovative conservation banks, and his experience building collaboration among a wide variety of stakeholders, lend well to developing successful strategies for both long-term environmental restoration and economic sustainability. Previously, Peter served as Regional Director of The Wilderness Society, State Director of The Trust for Public Land, Managing Director of Washington Water Trust and Assistant Attorney General for the State of Washington. He holds a JD and a MPA from Indiana University, as well as a BA in History from Indiana.
