The 2013 class of Enviropreneurs™ is nearly set, and this one is shaping up to be the most unique group we have ever had. You can read their individual bios here, but let me share a few summary statistics that suggest the whole will be greater than the sum of the parts.
For starters, the class is geographically diverse. Nine different states are represented and three foreign countries: Ecuador, Guatemala, and Nigeria.
Second, they have an abundance of professional experience. The average age is 35 and most have spent more than 10 years in the environmental field. These are not naïve idealists, but experienced professionals interested in learning something new.
Third, and on a related note, they have a breadth of professional experiences. The projects they bring to the Institute range from fisheries to the fashion industry. It’s this diversity of passions and perspectives that fosters the exchange of ideas PERC’s Enviropreneur™ Institute is known for.
This year’s Institute runs from June 23rd to July 2nd in Bozeman, Montana. Stop in to meet these inspiring people and learn about their passions.
