Trupti Ambrish Mehta
Mehta, a native of India, received her B.A. in English Literature from Gujarat University and then went to study at South Gujarat University in Surat, where she earned an M.A. in English Literature and Linguistics, an M.Phil in Linguistics and the degree of Bachelor of Law. She has been a lecturer in Gandhian philosophy, worked in the slums of Surat city to combat urban poverty, and was a trustee and full-time activist for ARCH, an NGO whose diverse purposes include activity in community health, tribal rights and development, property rights and environmental protection.
