Daniel Claussen

Daniel’s expertise lies at the intersection of finance and social impact with specialized experience in sustainable real estate and business development. As the Managing Director of the Impact Finance Collaborative, a partnership with Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors and the University of Denver, Daniel leads R&D, education and advisement on Impact Finance. Over the past 5 years, he has consulted on a variety of impact finance ventures with an emphasis on investment due-diligence, strategic planning and co-investment network building. Daniel’s work in impact finance arose out of structuring and leading $20M of public-private conservation real estate transactions in the face of diminishing public funding sources. Previous to his transactional experience, Daniel has worked extensively in various social and environmental media and education ventures.
