Katie McCann
Katie McCann serves as a Program Associate for the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. She works on some of the Foundation’s environmental grant investigation efforts. A New England native, Katie was born in New York City and grew up in Providence, RI. She attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges, earning a degree in psychology with additional concentration on women’s studies. She studied abroad at the Oxford School of Drama and the University College of Galway. Katie currently lives in San Francisco and takes advantage of the wide range of outdoor activities offered by the West Coast climates. Katie joined the fund-raising efforts of the Leukemia Society by running with its Team in Training in the 2001 Anchorage Marathon. In addition to running, she enjoys skiing, camping — especially visiting national parks– and photography.
