President Biden has pledged to conserve 30 percent of U.S. lands and waters by 2030. With 12 percent of the U.S. already under some form of protection, the question on the mind of many people is “Where will the other 18 percent come from?” PERC research fellow Catherine Semcer joined Climate One to discuss ’30×30′, also known as America the Beautiful, and how this ambitious goal will impact private landowners.
