Adam Nicholson

Adam Nicholson serves as the director of strategic donor partnerships at PERC, where he partners with philanthropic leaders who believe that lasting conservation depends on incentive-based solutions that empower the people closest to our land, water, and wildlife. Over the past two decades, Adam has partnered with philanthropic leaders and led nonprofit efforts to advance free-market solutions that create lasting benefits for people and the environment.

Born in Dallas, Texas, raised in central North Carolina, and now residing along Colorado’s Front Range, Adam developed an early love for exploring America’s wild places. He enjoys hiking, hunting, ski touring, mountaineering, and fly-fishing from the Appalachians to the High Sierra, from the Adirondacks to the Cascades, and from the White Mountains to the Tetons.

Adam has long been active in outdoor recreation and conservation communities, including serving on the board of one of the country’s oldest mountaineering clubs and as a range safety officer at a premier long-range shooting facility near Washington, D.C. He is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside philanthropic leaders who share a love for America’s remarkable land, water, and wildlife—and are investing in conserving it for future generations.
