Ali Ahmad Jan
Jan is an economist by profession and holds a master’s in mass communication and a law degree. He is currently working with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) on Integrated Conservation and Development approaches in the Karakorams, Himalayas, and Hindukush mountain ranges of Pakistan. Jan’s responsibilities include project development, replication and expansion of program coverage, monitoring and evaluation of program activities, communications, policy and research. Prior to his recent assignment, he worked with the Planning and Development Department, Northern Areas, of the Government of Pakistan in appraising, monitoring and evaluating public sector development projects and programs. Jan is an associate of Leadership for Environment And Development (LEAD), a global network of professionals.
