Anna Papp

Anna Papp was a 2023 PERC graduate fellow and a 4th-year Ph.D. student in the Sustainable Development program at Columbia University. She conducts applied micro and interdisciplinary research with a focus on the environment. Anna also uses remote sensing and non-traditional data in many of her projects. She is particularly interested in plastic pollution as well as climate and environmental adaptation.

Before starting her Ph.D., Anna worked as an RA at the Yale School of Management and as an equity research associate on the U.S. Restaurants team at AB Bernstein. Anna is originally from Budapest, Hungary, and enjoys hiking, camping, vegan food, and board games in her free time.
