Daniel Picha

Daniel Pichas of the Czech Republic has worked as an environmental consultant for nearly three years. His primary responsibility is to implement environmental management systems into manufacturing companies. However, he is also concerned with the quality and health and safety management systems implementation. Picha also provides special trainings, legislation consultations, and environmental quality and health and safety internal audits for clients. Prior to his current position, Picha worked part time as an assistant to a factory environmental manager.

Picha graduated from Charles University of Prague where he continues postgraduate studies in Natural Resources Management and Environmental Geology. As part of his postgraduate work, he is focusing on air quality problems in small villages caused by the coal fuels that are burned for heating. He Is working the Czech Environmental Protection Agency to develop a solution to the problem.

When he is not working or going to school, Picha enjoys cycling, hiking, snowboarding, table tennis playing, photography, and most of all, travelling.
