Jack Wlezien
Jack Wlezien is Vice President of Marketing and Communications at PERC. A passionate conservationist and skilled storyteller, Jack has helped high-profile brands and grassroots nonprofits alike grow their environmental impact through creative and strategic communications.
Prior to joining PERC, Jack was Head of Communications at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s at their headquarters in Springfield, Missouri, where he elevated the outdoor brand’s reputation as a nationwide conservation leader during a period of rapid transformation and growth. He also played a leadership role in establishing the company’s nonprofit foundation, conservation attractions, and grant-based giving efforts. Earlier in his career, Jack supported dozens of conservation organizations and museums at a national marketing and communications agency in his hometown of Chicago.
A city kid who made the jump to small-town living, Jack gained an appreciation for the role private landowners play in conservation by watching the abundant wildlife along the creek in his backyard. Jack loves hiking and exploring America’s national parks, with his favorite days ending near a campfire or large stone fireplace.
