Joy Rackley
Joy was recently accepted to the University of Oregon Graduate School of Architecture where she will study Sustainable Design. With a bachelor’s degree in Architecture Design from Clemson University, Joy has worked, most recently in Miami Beach, Florida, in many different fields of design, including landscape design, residential architecture, new urbanism, furniture design and commercial architecture. Her travels and study of historic and vernacular architecture have led to an interest in applying these early techniques to designing with climate and renewable resources. Joy’s hobbies are woodworking, pottery, cycling and participating in local races.
