Linus Blomqvist

Linus Blomqvist was a 2023 PERC Lone Mountain fellow and a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, specializing in Environmental Economics and Science. His research interests include land use and agriculture, with ongoing projects on tropical deforestation policies, economic impacts of U.S. public lands, and conservation auctions. Linus was formerly the director of conservation at the Breakthrough Institute, a California-based think tank. He is also an author of the Ecomodernist Manifesto.
