Nicole Karwowski

Nicole Karwowski

Nicole is an assistant professor at Montana State University in the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Economics. She was a 2022 PERC graduate fellow and earned a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research focuses on applied microeconomics as well as environmental, natural resource, and agricultural economics. She is interested in better understanding adaptation, recovery, and mitigation efforts in the face of natural disasters and climate change. Nicole is originally from the Chicagoland area. She enjoys exploring the natural world through birding, hiking, and rock climbing.
