Robert Cunningham

Robert Cunningham, a native of Great Britain, graduated from Lancaster University in 1992 with a B.S. in Environmental Science. He went on to earn an MPhil with Distinction at Lancaster in 1999. He is now employed by The Wildlife Trusts as the Water Policy Officer in the UK Water Policy team, where he works to ensure that future legislation fully recognizes the multi-functional value of the UK’s wetlands. His first contact with free market environmentalism was through a seminar on water markets sponsored by the Institute of Economic Affairs. He is curious to learn more about an economic approach to environmentalism, as it may be of use at a time of fundamental reform of the UK water industry.
