Scott McCaulou
Scott is a Senior Program Officer at the Deschutes River Conservancy (DRC) in Bend, Oregon. His work focuses on restoring streamflows in the Deschutes River and its tributaries by implementing market-based, incentive-oriented transactions with irrigation districts and private landowners that reallocate water rights to instream uses. Scott has been with the DRC for six years and prior to that worked on river-related conservation efforts with several other local non-governmental organizations including the Friends of the Metolius River, and the Deschutes Basin Land Trust. Having grown up in Oregon, Scott has a passion for the state’s many rivers and is careful to never leave home without his fishing rod and a few well-tied flies.
