Zach Anderson

Zach Anderson is a recent graduate of the MBA program at Portland State University, where he focused on addressing business challenges through sustainability initiatives. While earning his MBA, Zach was an intern at Gerding Edlen Development, the country’s leading green developer, as well as Brightworks Sustainability Advisors. Zach began his professional career teaching high school in rural Japan, and spent several years exploring Asia and the South Pacific. He also worked with an NGO in Guatemala creating renewable energy infrastructure. Zach returned to his Portland, Oregon, home and began work as a project manager for residential green construction before starting business school. Zach is excited to be part of the 2010 cohort at the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Karlskrona, Sweden, where he will spend the year earning a graduate degree in sustainability strategy and leadership.
