PERC Fellow Named New Dean of Texas A&M Law School

PERC senior fellow Andrew Morriss has been selected as the new dean of the Texas A&M University School of Law. He assumes the new position on July 1, leaving his post as the D. Paul Jones, Jr. & Charlene A. Jones Chairholder of Law at the University of Alabama School of Law.

Morriss is the author or coauthor of more than 50 scholarly articles, books, and chapters, and has conducted research on many regulatory issues including energy and the environment. Morriss said he and his wife Carol are “thrilled to get to be part of the team at Texas A&M. This is a unique opportunity in American legal education, combining the excellent faculty, staff and students at the law school with one of America’s premier research universities.” Congratulations, Prof. Morriss!
