Big Fire, Little Fire

    As wildfires raged throughout Canada and sent thick smoke billowing across the Midwest and eastern seaboard of the United States, many environmentalists called for climate action but overlooked a solution that could make a more immediate difference: proactive forest management.

    PERC CEO Brian Yablonski joined Benji Backer of the American Conservation Coalition on his podcast, Coming Clean, to discuss the recent wildfires and explore how treatments like prescribed fire and selective, mechanical thinning could improve forest health and reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfire.
