Immerse yourself in conservation

June 14-18, 2022

The PERC Student Summit is a three-day program designed for undergraduate and graduate students to explore private solutions for conservation. Students will stay in beautiful Bozeman, MT, where they’ll have access to breathtaking mountains, pristine rivers, and the world’s oldest national park, Yellowstone. The summit will introduce free market environmentalism, its ability to improve real-world conservation outcomes, and its application to policy and practice. Students will hear from experts in the classroom and out in the field and will convene with a diverse group to investigate the issues.

The 2022 student cohort will have the opportunity to see wolves in Yellowstone National Park, meet a Yellowstone National Park ranger, hear from local ranchers about how they balance economic realities and wildlife impacts, and engage with experts in the fields of economics, ecology, and conservation. Food and lodging will be provided by PERC. If you’re a student interested in the intersection of economics and the environment, apply today!
